In 1979, Jobs saw that the mouse-powered Xerox Alto had great future potential. Inspired by this, Jobs developed the Apple Lisa in 1983, which was a failed attempt. But later in 1984, the Macintosh GUI became a massive success. After this, in 1985, the Macintosh started desktop publishing in association with Apple Laser Writer. This printer was the first printer with vector graphics which was based on laser technology.

Steve Jobs was born in San Francisco, California. Jobs’ early life was spent in the San Francisco Bay Area. His parents did not have enough money to take care of him properly. The early life of Steve Jobs was full of struggle. Jobs was an adopted child of his parents. He enrolled for further studies at Reed College in 1972. He visited India in 1974 and here he learned about Jainism and Buddhism.

Apple:

At the age of just 21, Steve Jobs, along with another of his partner Steve Wozniak, laid the foundation of the apple computer in 1976. Then the two started together in a family garage. He gave a new identity to his entrepreneurial venture by selling a calculator he had made.

Jobs and Wozniak are credited with revolutionizing technology by making machines cheaper, smaller in size, and easier to use. Many of their products are loved by millions of people across the world. The market value of the company started from the garage is in billion dollars in today’s time.

After this, Jobs created another company NeXT. NeXT was established as a computer platform development company for the higher education and business markets. But Steve Jobs did not get much success in NeXT. After almost a decade, NeXT was also bought by Apple. Steve Jobs returned to Apple in 1997 after the acquisition of NeXT by Apple. And at that time Jobs did a lot of work in saving Apple from bankruptcy. And within a few years, he reached the interim CEO of Apple from a small position. He started a campaign called Think Different and worked on products such as iMac, iTunes, Apple Store, iTunes Store, iPod, iPhone, iPad, and App Store. And after some time reached the full-time position at Apple.

Death:

In 2009, there was a lot of rumor about Jobs’s weight loss, to which Jobs later said that he was dealing with hormone imbalance. After this, on September 9, 2009, he gave a speech at an event. Steve Jobs died in Palo Alto in October 2011 at the age of 56. He battled pancreatic cancer for almost a decade.
